The R.C. Clark House was just recently added to the National Register of Historic Places. A special ribbon cutting ceremony was held for this recognition. Special attendees & speakers included Brad Prewitt (Owner), H.T. Holmes (Director of MDAH), Jack Reed, Jr. (Mayor of Tupelo), Thad Cochran (U.S. Senator), and Roger Wicker (U.S. Senator).

The R.C. Clark House was listed as one of the “Ten Most Endangered Historic Properties” by the HPC in recent years. However, with an Owner with foresight and a partnership with MDAH & the National Park Service, this property is a shining example of what can be the future of our historic structures in Tupelo.
